Consumer right of withdrawal

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be predominantly attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving a reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day,

• on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are or are delivered as a single unit, or
• on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods, if you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately, or
• on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial delivery or the last piece, provided that you have ordered goods that are delivered in several partial deliveries or pieces, or
• on which you or a third party named by you, other than the carrier, have acquired physical possession of the first goods, if you have concluded a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period.

If you use this online function, we will immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) with information on the content of the declaration of withdrawal as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient if you have sent your declaration of cancellation using the right of cancellation function (the so-called „cancellation button“) before the deadline expires.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal by informing us (DMG Chemie GmbH, Heiterblickstraße 42, 04347 Leipzig, Germany, Telephone number: 03414937053, E-mail address: info@dmg-chemie.de) in an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not obligatory.

In this case, it is sufficient for observing the cancellation period that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the cancellation period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you cancel this contract, we will refund you all payments we have received from you, including the cost of delivery (with the exception of any additional costs incurred if you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We can refuse the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value is due to handling of the goods which was not necessary for the examination of their nature, characteristics and functioning.
